The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

When the sun is folded up, 1 And when the stars fall, dispersing, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 And when the wild animals are made to go forth, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 When souls are reunited (with the bodies) 7 And when the female infant buried alive is asked 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Then every soul shall know that which it hath presented. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 And the breath of morning 18 Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 he truly beheld him [the angel] on the clear horizon. 23 He is not chary of making public what is unknown. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
