The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
