Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
