The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ The Compassionate. 1 Hath made known the Qur'an. 2 He created man. 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the heaven, He raised it high, and He made the balance 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 And He appointed the earth for the creatures. 10 Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, 11 grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He has created man from dry, rotten clay like the potter's, 14 And created jinns from the white-hot flame of fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 He is the Lord of the two easts and the Lord of the two wests. 17 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 and yet there is a barrier between them which they may not overstep. 20 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 21 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. 22 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
