۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
