The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and by Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 We have created the human being in the best form 4 then We restored him the lowest of the low -- 5 except the believers who do good works, for theirs shall be an unfailing recompense. 6 What henceforth shall make thee belie the Requital? 7 Is not Allah the Greatest of all sovereigns? 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
