The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
