The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 To this he himself shall bear witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
