The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 thinking his wealth will render him immortal! 3 By no means. He will be thrown into Hutama. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In outstretched columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
