Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 and the criminals will be driven and thrown into hell, 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Assuredly, you have uttered a monstrous falsehood: 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
