Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 and ease my task for me. 26 and my tongue fluent 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 Increase through him my strength 31 Let him be my partner in this task 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 saying: "Put him in the box and cast it into the river. The river will cast him on to the bank, and he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his." I lavished My Love on you, and to be formed in My Sight. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I formed thee for Myself. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Who then, O Musa (Moses), is the Lord of you two?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave to everything its creation, then guided it (to its goal). 50 [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said: "What about the generations of old?" 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth, 52 It is God who has made the earth as a cradle for you with roads for you to travel. He has sent water from the sky to produce various pairs of plants. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
