Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7

Say: Who guardeth you in the night or in the day from the Beneficent? Nay, but they turn away from mention of their Lord! 42 Do they have some Gods who protect them from Us? Neither can they save themselves nor save their friends from Us. 43 Nay, We have allowed these [sinners] - as [We allowed] their forebears - to enjoy the good things of life for a great length of time: but then - have they never yet seen how We visit the earth [with Our punishment,] gradually depriving it of all that is best thereon? Can they, then, [hope to] be the winners? 44 Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned. 45 But if just a breath of your Lord's punishment were to touch them, they would say: 'Woe for us, we were harmdoers' 46 And We shall set balances of justice for the Day of Judgment; then no soul shall be wronged at all; and if it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed We shall bring it; and We suffice as Reckoners. 47 AND, INDEED, We vouchsafed unto Moses and Aaron [Our revelation as] the standard by which to discern the true from the false, and as a [guiding] light and a reminder for the God-conscious 48 those who fear Allah in the Unseen, tremble because of the Hour. 49 This (Quran) which We have revealed is a blessed reminder. Will you then deny it? 50
