And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
