۞ Say to them, (O Prophet): “I give you but one counsel: stand up (for heaven's sake), singly and in pairs, and then think: what is it in your companion (to wit, Muhammad) that could be deemed as madness?” He is nothing but a warner, warning you before the coming of a grevious chastisement. 46 Say: Whatever reward I have asked of you, that is only for yourselves; my reward is only with Allah, and He is a witness of all things. 47 Proclaim, “Indeed my Lord sends down the truth; the All Knowing of all the hidden.” 48 Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]." 49 Say: "If I am in error it is to my own loss; if I am on guidance that is so because of what my Lord reveals to me. He is all-hearing and all-too-near." 50 If you could only see when they (the unbelievers) are seized with terror, and there is no escape. They shall be seized from a nearby place, 51 then they will say, "We now believe in Him." But how will they attain to faith, having gone so far away from it? 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And between them and their desires a barrier shall be placed as was done in the past with people of their ilk; for they were indeed in disquieting doubt. 54
