And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
