We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
