Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
