To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and the Day that the Hour of Judgment is established,- that Day will the dealers in Falsehood perish! 27 And you will see each nation humbled to their knees (kneeling), each nation will be called to its Record (of deeds). This Day you shall be recompensed for what you used to do. 28 "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." 29 Then, as for those who believed and did good works, their Lord will bring them in unto His mercy. That is the evident triumph. 30 As for the infidels, (it will be said): "Were not My messages read out to you? But you behaved with self-conceit, and became a sinful people. 31 for when it was said, 'Behold, God's promise always comes true, and there can be no doubt about [the coming of] the Last Hour' - you would answer, 'We do not know what that Last Hour may be: we think it is no more than an empty guess, and [so] we are by no means convinced!'" 32 And [on that Day,] the evil of their doings will become obvious to them, and they will be overwhelmed by the very thing which they were wont to deride. 33 And [the word] will be spoken: "Today We shall be oblivious of you as you were oblivious of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]; and so your goal is the fire, and you shall have none to succour you: 34 "This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace. 35 All praise, then, unto Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, Lord of the worlds. 36 His is the supremacy in the heavens and the earth; and He is the all-mighty and all-wise. 37
