▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Wherein both will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 59 Is there any Reward for Good - other than Good? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 untouched by jinn or mankind before. 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 78
