▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And verily that is a mighty oath, if ye but knew! 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And you make its denial your share? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he be of those brought nigh the Throne, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96
True are the words of God the Almighty.
