Say: "I call on my Lord alone and I do not associate any one with Him." 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say: Lo! none can protect me from Allah, nor can I find any refuge beside Him 22 if I should fail to convey [to the world whatever illumination comes to me] from God and His messages." Now as for him who rebels against God and His Apostle - verily, the fire of hell awaits him, therein to abide beyond the count of time. 23 Until they see what they are promised, when they will understand who is weaker in aid and poorer in numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 Knower He of the Unseen, and He discloses not His Unseen to anyone, 26 He causes angelic guards to march before and after him. 27 That He may know that they have preached the message of their Lord. And He comprehendeth whatever is with them, and He keepeth count of everything numbered. 28
