In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy [so many of] those [sinners] of olden days? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision; We have gathered you and all the earlier men. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
