He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting]. 2 What could inform thee but that he might grow (in grace) 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 you attend to him, 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 and in awe [of God] 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment, 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm He creates him, and thereupon determines his nature, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then, when He willed, He brought him out. (As during the night of Holy Prophet’s ascension, when all the Prophets gathered behind him in the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. Or when Allah will raise everyone on the Day of Resurrection.) 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let the human being think about (how We produce) his food. 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 Then We cleave the earth, cleaving (it) asunder, 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 and vines and edible plants, 28 And olives and palms 29 and gardens dense with foliage, 30 and fruits and herbage, 31 for you and for your animals to enjoy. 32 Then when cometh the Deafening Cry 33 on that Day a man shall flee from his own brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 and be cheerful and joyous. 39 some faces on that day shall be dusty 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 Those! they are the infidels, the ungodly. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
