The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe to the defrauders, 1 who, when people measure for them, take full measure, 2 but when they measure or weigh, give less. 3 Do they not think that they will be called to account?- 4 On a grievous day, 5 a Day when mankind will stand before the Lord of the Universe? 6 Indeed the ledger of the wicked will be in (the lowest depths) Sijjin. 7 And what will make you know what Sijjin is? 8 It is [their destination recorded in] a register inscribed. 9 Woe on that Day to those who belied it, 10 those who give the lie to the [coming of] Judgment Day: 11 and none cries lies to it but every guilty aggressor. 12 who, when listening to Our revelations, say, "These are only ancient legends". 13 No indeed! Their own deeds have cast a veil over their hearts. 14 Indeed! On that Day a barrier will be set between them and their Lord, 15 Then they shall roast in Hell, 16 and who will be told, "This is what you had called a lie". 17 Nay! Verily, the Record (writing of the deeds) of Al-Abrar (the pious who fear Allah and avoid evil), is (preserved) in 'Illiyyun. 18 Ah, what will convey unto thee what 'Illiyin is! - 19 It is a Book inscribed, 20 Witnessed by those who are honoured. 21 Lo! the righteous verily are in delight, 22 On couches, gazing, 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 as they are given to drink of a wine sealed 25 whose seal is musk -- so after that let the strivers strive -- 26 and whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 and whenever they pass by them, they wink at one another [derisively]; 30 and when they went back to their families, they went back jesting, 31 And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!" 32 though they were not sent to be their keepers -- 33 But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers 34 as they sit on couches, gazing around. 35 Surely the disbelievers are rewarded as they did. 36
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
