The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and Man says., 'What ails her?' 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
