The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Clatterer! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for one whose scales are light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
