The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
