O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. 102 Hold on firmly together to the rope of God, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember the favours God bestowed on you when you were one another's foe and He reconciled your hearts, and you turned into brethren through His grace. You had stood on the edge of a pit of fire and He saved you from it, thus revealing to you His clear signs that you may find the right way perchance. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 And be not like unto those who separated and differed among themselves after there had come unto them evidences. These! for them shall be a torment mighty. 105 On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject." 106 And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide. 107 These are revelations of Allah. We recite them unto thee in truth. Allah willeth no injustice to (His) creatures. 108 And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah's; and to Allah all things return 109
