The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Found He not thee an orphan, so He sheltered thee? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
