With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
