The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter. 1 Who amasses wealth and hordes it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 On the contrary! He shall be flung to the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled, 6 which shall oversee the hearts, 7 closed around them 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
