Verily, the tree of Zaqqum, 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 As does boiling water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in security. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
