The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
