The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 These will be those Nearest to Allah: 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few from the latter. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Round about them shall go youths never altering in age, 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And flesh of fowls that they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 The reward for what they did. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and extended shade, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruits numberless, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And couches raised up. 34 We have indeed developed these women with an excellent development. 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
