And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
