The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the racers, panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 So thereupon raising dust. 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
