Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
