Believers, do not devour usury multiplied many times over. Fear God, so that you may prosper, 130 And ward off (from yourselves) the Fire prepared for disbelievers. 131 and obey God and the Messenger, so that you may be given mercy. 132 ۞ And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous 133 Those who expend in weal and woe, and the repressors of rage and the pardoners of men; and Allah loveth the doers of good. 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 Those -- their recompense is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, therein dwelling forever; and how excellent is the wage of those who labour! 136 Many were the Ways of Life that have passed away before you: travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who rejected Truth. 137 This is a clear statement for men, and a guidance and an admonition to those who guard (against evil). 138 Faint not, neither sorrow; you shall be the upper ones if you are believers. 139 If a wound (and killing) has touched you, be sure a similar wound (and killing) has touched the others. And so are the days (good and not so good), We give to men by turns, that Allah may test those who believe, and that He may take martyrs from among you. And Allah likes not the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 140 and that God might render pure of all dross those who have attained to faith, and bring to nought those who deny the truth. 141 Did you think that you could go to Paradise before God knew which of you fought for His cause and which of you bore patience? 142 You were longing for death, before you met it. Now you have seen it with your own eyes. 143
