Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
