▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and, behold, this is indeed a most solemn affirmation, if you but knew it! 76 Behold, it is a truly noble discourse, 77 in a hidden Book 78 which none shall touch except the purified; 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Would you, now, look down with disdain on a tiding like this, 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 Wherefore then - when the soul cometh up to the wind-pipe 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 Then, if he is one of the honoured, 88 Then is relief, and flowers – and Gardens of peace. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
