Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
