▼ 70 The Heights
Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
So what is [the matter] with those who disbelieve, hastening [from] before you, [O Muhammad], 36 on the right and on the left in groups? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 to replace them with others better than them: nothing can prevent Us from doing this, 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- 43 Their eyes cast down; disgrace shall overtake them; that is the day which they were threatened with. 44
