▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In each of the two Gardens are two flowing springs. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 Fair ones reserved in pavilions - 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
