We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
