The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our lucid revelations are read out to them, the infidels say to those who believe: "Which of the two groups is better in standing, and whose company is more excellent?" 73 How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 and We shall inherit all the resources and hosts of which he boasts, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worship and shall become their adversaries instead. 82
