And they ask you concerning the mountains, say; "My Lord will blast them and scatter them as particles of dust. 105 And He will leave the earth a level plain; 106 with neither hollows nor upthrust mounds to be seen. 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them: but they shall not compass it with their knowledge. 110 ۞ (All) faces shall be humbled before the Living One, the Eternal. Those who are burdened with wrong doing shall have failed, 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 [Know,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth and [knowing this,] do not approach the Qur'an in haste, ere it has been revealed unto thee in full, but [always] say: "O my Sustainer, cause me to grow in knowledge! 114 We made a covenant with Adam, but he forgot and We found in him no constancy. 115
