The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
