3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said, "How can you worship what you yourselves have carved 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 And when he reached the age when he could work with him, he said, "O my son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. So tell me what you think of it!" He replied, "O my father, do as you are commanded; and God willing, you will find me steadfast." 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
