Q (Qaaf)

Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a retaining record. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 We sent down blessed water from the sky with which We caused gardens and the grains of harvest to grow, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 and so did 'Ad, and Pharaoh and Lot's brethren, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
