The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven is split asunder 1 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- 2 And when the earth has been extended 3 And it unburdens itself of all that is in it, and becomes empty. 4 and hearkens to the command of its Lord, doing what it should. 5 Human being, you strive hard to get closer to your Lord, and so you will certainly receive the recompense (of your deeds). 6 Then as for him who is given his book in his right hand, 7 He truly will receive an easy reckoning 8 And he shall return unto his people joyfully. 9 But he who is given his ledger from behind his back 10 He will cry out for destruction 11 and roast at the Blaze. 12 He verily lived joyous with his folk, 13 thinking he would never revert (to Us). 14 But he will indeed! His Lord was ever watching him. 15 So I swear by the twilight glow 16 and the night and what it envelops 17 and the moon when it grows full, 18 You will surely go up level by level. 19 What aileth them then, that they believe not, 20 And, when the Qur'an is recited unto them, worship not (Allah)? ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 God is quite aware of what they are storing in their hearts. 23 So announce to them a painful torment. 24 except those that believe, and do righteous deeds -- theirs shall be a wage unfailing. 25
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
